Jeans for a Cause
Making a Difference, One Pair at a Time.
At Unity Bank, we believe in blending comfort with compassion through our Jeans for a Cause program. This initiative allows our bankers to contribute to meaningful causes while enjoying a more relaxed dress code. Here’s how it works:
Wear Jeans, Make a Difference
Employees who choose to wear jeans during the week donate $2 per day or $5 per week to the “Jeans Fund.”
Quarterly Charity Designation
Each branch selects a local charity each quarter to receive the funds collected from their branch’s “Jeans Fund.”
Matching Donations
Unity Bank matches employee and community donations up to $600 per quarter per branch, doubling the impact of every contribution.
Community Involvement
Community members are also encouraged to contribute to the “Jeans Fund” via a donation box securely located behind the teller line.
In 2023, Unity Bankers raised $7,415.35 towards the jeans fund which was then 100% matched for a total of $14,830.70.
